Paulatine's release schedule isn't very packed. That's because every one of the tracks to be released is thought and chosen to the last stroke. It's not about putting a lot of material out that sounds like the last trend. It's about releasing good timeless music. The fifth release of the label, signed by Baum, is nothing but that.

"My Mind" is Baum's debut, the solo adventure of one of Deep & Suga components, known for their releases along UNER himself - head of Paulatine - under labels such as Diynamic or Rebirth. "My Mind" is a true declaration of Baum's intent offer: classic underground background house focused on the dancefloor, old-school sound that doesn't forget about the latest trends. In that way, "My Mind" is a tribute to the sound released in the 90s by labels like Murk or Tribal.

The remixes set a very high standard. Piek, a steady collaborator of the label, lays his interpretation of the track on a heavy bassline, acid Minimoog slices and a painstaking, detailed production. Closing the EP starrs Jaffa Surfa, one of the favourite producers of the Paulatine team ever since that "Doin Hauz" released under All Inn, with a remix void of glitter, a deep dubby ride only suitable for gourmets.
