Global Underground celebrates 30 years in Ibiza

Global Underground celebrates its 30th anniversary in Ibiza with a two-day takeover spanning two of the island’s best-known venues. On Thursday 1 and Friday 2 October 2026, the label joins forces with 909 and WAV Liverpool for two nights combining the open-air setting of 528 Ibiza with an exclusive sunset and evening session at Café del Mar.

The first date, on Thursday 1 October, takes place at the 528 Garden Amphitheatre, where Deep Dish return to the Global Underground story alongside Guy J. From 11pm, the action moves inside the 528 Club with Patrice Bäumel, Dave Seaman and James Zabiela, bringing together three artists closely associated with the label’s catalogue and its progressive and techno heritage.

The second day moves to Café del Mar on Friday 2 October, with Lloyd Barwood providing the soundtrack to the sunset before the music continues inside the venue into the night. The combination of music and one of Ibiza’s most recognisable sunset settings forms the second part of the anniversary celebration.

Founded in the mid-1990s, Global Underground has built its identity around its celebrated mix series and a catalogue connecting progressive house, techno and electronic music from different generations. Its 30th anniversary in Ibiza brings that history together across two venues, with one ticket covering both dates.
