Iconic party series returns as Le Weekend MANUMISSION across three days in 2026

Remembered as on of Ibiza's wildest, most hedonistic and outrageous event that embodied the heyday of the island's decadent history, the iconic MANUMISSION event series will forever be embedded in Balearic history. 

This year, co-founders Andy McKay, Mike and Claire Manumission, are bringing the party back to Ibiza's shores in its newest iteration: Le Weekend MANUMISSION, with 528 Ibiza, Pikes, and Bar M as the stage, the studio, and the dance floor for the Manumission story to continue.

From 25 - 27 September 2026, Le Weekend MANUMISSION will take over three locations across three days for one pure and authentic Manumission weekend.

Andy McKay, co-founder of Manumission, says, "For Ibiza or the global dance music community, perhaps the big news is that, after 18 years, Manumission - once the world's biggest weekly event - is back. But for me, this is something much more personal. For me, it's an unexpected dividend after a painful personal journey of adversity, conflict, and growth that has led to peace, happiness, and my family coming together again after far too long apart. The joy this brings to all of us, and especially to our mother, is the real reward. 

“The opportunity to reunite with Mike and Claire is beyond exciting: they are both a creative whirlwind. Manumission was created by two brothers in 1994 in Manchester, but Claire defined Manumission as much as we did, and I feel we're ready to rock Ibiza again. Join us after almost two decades of hiatus as we discover how Manumission fits into a very different world. Ibiza is really starting to make sense again. Check it out last weekend of September.”

Claire Manumission, co-owner and creative director, adds, “Miracles do happen. Manumission came to life in a small gay club in Manchester. The brainchild of architecture student Mike and the entrepreneurial vision of his brother Andy. But for me, it was born in Ibiza, like a whisper in the summer breeze…
